Project Description
Tom undertook a community consultation in conjunction with his colleague Wendy Armstrong Taylor for the design of a neighbourhood park in the Black Mountain Drive area. Three park design options were presented to the community in partnership with the City of Kelowna Parks Division. The chosen landscape design incorporated a circular sport court, a children’s play area, passive seating area, a pathway system next to an informal turf area and a toboggan run. Tree and shrub planting together with park signage was also incorporated into the design.
