| Lower Glenrosa Neighbourhood Plan |

Project DescriptionFiona undertook a park planning and design process with the developer of this plan area for the incorporation of the 5% parkland dedication requirement as per Section 941 of the Local Government Act. The park concept proposed by Fiona involved the incorporation of a linear park corridor with enlarged neighbourhood park nodes to accommodate passive seating areas, playground equipment and informal turf areas.Due to the presence of 12 different property owners falling within the neighbourhood plan area and the need to address the 5% parkland dedication requirement equitably, Fiona worked with the developer to draft an area-specific development cost charges bylaw in place of Section 941 of the LGA in order to address a fair allocation of park dedication to all properties within the neighbourhood plan boundary.
