Project Description

The Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park was acquired in 2002 for $3.4 million dollars and boasts a 100-year old nut orchard and over 400 linear feet of Okanagan Lakefront. The parkland was the recipient of a Canada-British Columbia Infrastructure Grant, which allowed the undertaking of 4 park contracts.

Fiona was responsible for and successfully completed the administration of an orchard pruning contract, a site infrastructure (water, irrigation, sewer, trails, parking lot, washrooms) contract, a heritage building restoration contract and an interpretation development planning (interpretive signage and school tour programing) contract.
