Project Description
Tom undertook a linear park design for Black Mountain Drive in conjunction with the developer of the Black Mountain Developments and the City of Kelowna Parks Division. Tom’s design included a streetscape design that incorporated a 3 metre wide multi-use recreation corridor, a development entrance signage feature, shade trees, shrub beds for screening, retaining wall construction and significant ecological restoration and riparian area restoration of a realigned portion of the adjacent creek. The design successfully combined both recreational and environmental objectives and provided an eye-catching entry to the residential development.
